Children's toys today come with all sorts of lights and buttons, but there's something sweet and humble about bringing back traditional wooden toys.

Recently launched, [Link https://www.facebook.com/ludiloWoodenToyLibrary Ludilo Wooden Toy Libary] in Bishop's Waltham focuses on renting out wooden, eco and open-ended toys only. The idea is to give families the opportunity to play with a wide variety of high-quality toys without cluttering their homes.

This philosophy for rotating toys is a great introduction to leading a more sustainable way of living, to reduce our carbon footprint and to show us the way towards a zero-waste lifestyle.

Why rent a wooden toy?

Get new toys every few weeks and replace them before boredom sets in.

Instead of multiple families purchasing many copies of the same toy, it can be shared over time amongst visitors to the toy library.

Larger toys, such as ride-on toys can be enjoyed without worrying where to keep them long-term.

The option to rent toys also enables you to try before you buy, so that you can make the right choice in selecting toys to buy, as well as learning more about the different brands that do wonderful wooden toys.
