A day at the Pumpkin Picking Patch during the month of October, will also feature Halloween crafts.

This is the perfect activity for the smallest members of your family who love to create and make things. The bigger members of the family will enjoy carving pumpkins for Halloween, and taking them home to cook up a storm with this most versatile of fruits.

Children can also enjoy some amazing activities like hunting for Toad, take part in new photo opportunities and visit the famous pumpkin house. They can even try making their own witch’s broom (for flying as opposed to brushing!) and craft their own magic wand, or tin can bat.

“Everyone who comes to our Pumpkin Picking Patches is guaranteed a great time. There are literally thousands of pumpkins at every site." - Niall Smith, the ‘pumpkinologist’ who, along with his Dutch partner Suzanne Hennekens, is the driving force behind Pumpkin Picking Patches.

When arriving at the Pumpkin Picking Patches, visitors collect a wheelbarrow in which they can ‘round up’ their perfect pumpkins. Pumpkin come in a huge array of sizes and start at just £1.

Pumpkin Picking Patches are the perfect places to get children away from their gadgets and let them run around in the fresh air. With free entry, it is a cost effective family day out where you can drive home with your car boot full of glorious pumpkins to craft and cook at home.
